Michael Haverkamp

Head of Siemens Global Business Services Equity and Compensation Services, Siemens AG

Michael Haverkamp joined Siemens in Oktober 2002. Michael holds a Diploma in Business Administration. After different positions in the commercial area within the Communication Business and Central Controlling he has become one of the founding members of the Global Share Programs department. In 2009, Siemens decided to implement a global all-employee Share Matching Plan and he was responsible for the implementation in around 50 countries. Until mid of 2011, Michael was the implementation manager for the Share Matching plan. In 2011, Michael moved on a 3 years secondment to Spain where he was heading the regional hub of HR Performance & Reporting and was part of the Compensation & Benefits team for approx. 20,000 employees. In this role, he was responsible for a broad range of strategic, reporting and C&B topics. After his return in 2014 Michael was leading the global HR reporting topic for Siemens with around 20 employees and established a single source HR reporting solution for Siemens. This was the first step in the transformation of HR reporting into a digitalized world. In July 2019 Michael took over the role as Head of Equity services in the newly founded arena of Global Business Services within Siemens.  In this leadership role, Michael is responsible for the administration and execution of around 15 different share programs with around 300.000 participants in 100 countries. Together with a team of around 20 employees Equity Services is also developing other digital solutions in the area of Top Management lifecycle and risk management.
