After Graduating in Civil Law from Leiden University in 1987, Gerard started his career in organisation consultancy in the Netherlands. In 1990 he joined Shell. In Shell, Gerard held several different HR positions in Rotterdam, Assen and Hamburg. In mid 1996 he changed to the role of Marketing Manager Retail in Germany. With an appetite for more commercial experience he returned to the Netherlands in 1998 to become Commercial Manager for Shell Global Solutions, selling technology solutions to key industries in Europe. In 2000 Gerard became Head of Recruitment, with Shell International, responsible for delivery of the critical talent intake for Shell's diversified businesses around the World. Gerard then joined IT for Shell late 2003 in the position of VP Human Resources where he managed amongst others the critical off shoring and outsourcing work involving more than 5000 staff.

Mehpare Alp graduated from Middle East Technical University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
In 1992 she was transferred to an American training company Northern NEF, Inc., training subcontractor of FNSS Defense Systems, as an Administrative Manager and served 10 years as the Country Manager. Alp prepared training programs for FNSS employees to cover management, technical, quality, health and safety areas where she used instructors from Turkey and abroad. She conducted ‘Leadership and Cultural Change’ programs for FNSS and served as an instructor. Her training support for FNSS was not limited with the in-house training but also covered suppliers and customers. She conducted systematic studies for measuring the effectiveness of the training programs.
Alp established Unida Ankara branch in 2005 to provide human resources and training services. Unida provided a broad spectrum of services comprising mainly of HR consultancy and recruitment. HR consultancy services included; performance management system, corporate culture change programs, design of HR processes, building or rehabilitation of compensation and reward schemes, career planning and salary systems.
She also served as FranklinCovey programs facilitator for the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People program. She conducted the program to the military and many major private sector companies.
As the HR Director for FNSS for the last 10 years and after serving almost for a decade as Training and Development Manager in the same company, she oversees all HR functions ranging from platform HR to managing all HR processes such as selection and placement, performance management, career management, talent management, and coaching. With her belief in making her job highly challenging is working in a company that relies on an outstanding work force mainly specially trained engineers engaged in R&D and design activities with a diverse body of share holders both global and local.

Alraune is currently Director, Global HR Portfolio Management at Nike. She is focused on implementing the global HR strategy planning and portfolio performance management function. Prior to her work at Nike, during her 18-year career in HR Systems, Alraune has consulted with Fortune 100 companies in the US and successfully implemented integrated talent systems, led critical HR programs and managed HR Portfolio Intake, Prioritization and Management globally.

Nigel Rogers is Global Head of HR Systems and is responsible for selection, implementation, support and development of Workday, Cornerstone OnDemand and Taleo, including the production of management information and integrations with payroll and other systems. Nigel joined Aberdeen in 2005 through the acquisition of Deutsche Asset Management where he was a Business Data analyst producing analytics from Peoplesoft. Previously, Nigel worked for Beauchamp Financial Systems as an Interim HR Manager and for OM Technology as Director of Professional Services. Prior to that, Nigel worked for Synopsys Limited as a Development Manager and Project Manager for a back office settlement system, and later as HR Manager.

Ross is a global speaker and thought leader in the fields of Human Capital Strategy & Talent Analytics.  With over 15 years experience in Strategic Workforce Planning,  he uses his background in statistics, business strategy and HR to consult with C-Suite officers and senior leaders on strategic methodologies and frameworks for HR and corporate strategy alignment. His goal is to provide senior leaders with improved data and fresh insights, aimed towards enhanced people-related decisions which ultimately  improve organizational performance.
He is currently the Head of Strategic Workforce Planning at Facebook, where his key function is developing and optimising talent strategies  for Facebook’s future growth.  Prior to Facebook, Ross functioned as the Head of Strategic Workforce Planning & Analytics at GE Aviation, Director of Strategic Workforce Planningat Devon Energy, and as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting where he specialised in Human Capital Strategy and Workforce Planning & Analytics.
Ross was recently awarded Best Practice winner by the Best Practices Institute (BPI), and has received numerous accolades for his innovative and results-driven approach  to Strategic Workforce Planning. He holds an MSc in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and an MA in HR from the University of Oklahoma.  In his spare time he enjoys traveling, photography and learning new things.
